Simple Syrup Recipe and 5 Other Cocktail Additions

Moscow Mules

Simple Syrup for Moscow Mules

When making cocktails, often the first things you think of are alcohol and a mixer such as juice or soda. If you wonder how so many cocktails at bars taste so unique it is probably because their cocktails have a more complex blend of ingredients such as syrups and infusions which give them a signature flavor that usually make them stand out and make you think “I wonder what’s in it?”.

This is quite simple to replicate at home, and the small amount of effort involved in the process is definitely worth it. There are literally dozens of different syrup and liquor infusions in almost every flavor imaginable. In this article, we have listed the basic simple syrup recipe plus five of our other favorites that will make your party guests wonder “what’s the secret ingredient?”
